Volt is a physical highlighter marker, not a color. You use it to emphasize a phrase by filling behind ink text — like dragging a fluorescent pen across a page. It is never a foreground color, never a background for light text, and never enters the terminal.

Two typefaces, both free under the SIL Open Font License. Archivo carries the brand voice — editorial, muscular, precise. IBM Plex Mono is the technical register: tickers, funding rates, data labels, eyebrows.

IBX MARKET

Custom E: The middle spine of the E has been removed and rebuilt as three ridge bars echoing the Twin Ridgeline mark. Always use the supplied SVG lockup — never retype IBEX. The custom E is not in the Archivo font file.

MARKET is always in IBM Plex Mono, tracked ~0.5em, in deep magenta on paper or neon on ink.

06 — DOCTRINE

These are enforced constraints, not suggestions. Every piece of Ibex brand work must pass all six.

01Magenta never colors P&L. Tape uses up/down and always carries a ▲/▼ shape cue plus a + / − sign. Never hue alone.
02Volt never sets type and never enters the terminal. It is a highlighter fill on paper surfaces only — one moment per surface, ink text only.
03The mark is never outlined, rotated, stretched, recolored off-palette, or set below full opacity. Always use the supplied SVG files.
04One accent moment per surface. One volt highlight, or one neon callout, or one deep magenta CTA — never two competing accents.
05Communications lead light; the terminal is ink-only. The paper and ink registers never mix on the same surface.
06Deep-magenta text on paper is the contrast floor. Approximately 5.3:1 (AA). Never below 11px, never on blush or mist — always pair with ink or paper base.
